Story in short:
The story is about a king who donates a portion of his land to villagers in exchange for a stone from a deity, warning his family not to reclaim it. In 1970, the king's successor tries to take back the land and dies mysteriously. In 1990, a forest officer is tasked with converting the land into a reserve, but a Kambala athlete from the village, Shiva, and his friends oppose it. As the feud intensifies, Devendra, the king's successor in the present, reveals his ulterior motive of acquiring the land and kills Shiva's cousin Guruva. Shiva discovers the truth, unites the village with Murali, and kills Devendra and his henchmen after getting possessed by the Guliga Daiva. In the end, Shiva disappears into the forest after performing the Bhoota Kola.
